Memorable Ad Campaigns

Here is a compilation of various ads or campaigns I have come across while reading books, scouring the web, or experiencing them in the way they were intended to: in real life.

 

These ads are in no particular order and have...

  • excellent design or form, or

  • are insanely humanizing, or

  • were mavericks in their time, or

  • separated an ordinary product from its competition, or

  • struck a personal chord

1960's VW Ads

 

These four ads speak to the simplicity that is Volkswagen and specifically, this beetle. They're also astonishingly straightforward.

Developed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, this short was created to raise awareness and start a discussion about the effects of drinking too much of the sugary stuff. Anyone want to grab a coke?​
